Konica Minolta Europe recently announced a partnership with Kepler Vision Technologies, a Dutch AI company, in the European healthcare sector. The two companies will offer an AI night nurse solution that combines Konica Minolta's MOBOTIX C71 camera with Kepler Night Nurse, a computer vision technology developed by Kepler Vision.

The solution uses a smart sensor embedded in the camera to detect a patient's fall and immediately notify nurses and caregivers, enabling them to respond quickly. It is expected to contribute to alleviating labor shortages in nursing and care facilities, and Konica Minolta Europe will be in charge of international sales.

Konica Minolta's Petr Atanasčev said, "Kepler Vision's innovative Kepler Night Nurse product is exactly the kind of product we wanted to collaborate on, and we are pleased to be able to help promote it internationally. Harro Stokman, CEO of Kepler Vision, said, "This is one of our most important partnerships," adding, "By leveraging Konica Minolta's knowledge and expertise in the IT field, we can focus on creating products.
